Introduction

Voltage Controlled Crystal Oscillators (VCXOs) are commonly used in applications where it is necessary to lock a local oscillator to another frequency source, such as a clock recovery circuit. The stability of VCXOs is less than that of a VCTCXO, and the pullability is far greater.  Typically the stability of a VCXO will be between ±20ppm and ±100ppm, whilst the pullability will be in the range from ±25ppm to ±200ppm.

Golledge offer a wide range of VCXOs to suit all applications. The GVXO-41 is the most cost effective leaded solution for the vast majority of applications (up to 33.0MHz). The GVXO-42 extends this up to 160.0MHz. The GVXO-43 and GVXO-44 cater for the increasing demand for 3.3V supply devices. The GVXO-53 & GVXO-55 are new SM VCXOs covering 1.0~52MHz in both 3.3V and 5.0V, housed in a miniature 7.5 x5.0 x 2.0mm package.
