Introduction

Temperature compensated crystal oscillators (TCXOs) offer excellent temperature characteristics with low power consumption and fast warmup. Most models of TCXOs also offer a facility to adjust the frequency by means of an external control voltage. These are known as VCTCXOs, and typically offer 1~3ppm/V over a 4~5V range. They do not offer as wide a pulling range as a VCXO.

Golledge offer a choice of TCXOs and VCTCXOs for every use, including GTXO-253, our 2.5x2.0mm TCXO/VCTCXO for GPS applications, offering stabilities down to 0.5ppm over -30+85°C running off a supply voltage of 1.8V. We hold large stocks of many frequencies, specifications and package configurations.
